The Victor Valley Community Dental Service Program (VVCDSP) is a non-profit dental service provider that has given free or discounted dental care to the local indigent population since 1997. The original mission of the organization, to provide dental care to the unserved or underserved people of the Victor Valley area, remains the passion of the organization and its Board of Directors.
To meet this mission, the VVCDSP serves its clients through a dental office in Victorville, and a mobile dental van, a specifically designed RV-type vehicle that travels to schools, indigent neighborhoods and churches to provide mobile dental restoration. There is no other mobile dental motorhome in the High Desert, and no dental service that provides free care to the indigent or homeless citizens of the High Desert.
In the last three years alone the organization has given free dental screening to over 23,300 children at schools on the van and applied fluoride treatments to the teeth of over 3,700 kindergarteners and preschoolers.
DSP's MISSION: To provide unique and compassionate dental services that meet the needs of the unserved and underserved children and their families of the High Desert of Southern California.
